The Haven is approximately 50kms from Rockhampton Airport and is accessible by private car, rideshare services (Taxi, Uber, or transfer service) or public transport (Young's Bus Service).
From Rockhampton travellers have the option of choosing a route either via Yeppoon or Emu Park.
From Emu Park, head north on Pattison Street. As you come over the rise as you leave Emu Park, turn Right onto Haven Road. The Haven is approx. 500m down the hill on your left. The Haven is just two minutes from the centre of Emu Park, and there are walking trails that can take you in and out of town. Ask one of our friendly staff for directions.
From Yeppoon, Travel south down Tanby Road. (Or for the more picturesque route, follow the coast down scenic highway and turn left onto Tanby Road at the southern end of the highway. As you approach Emu Park and enter the 80km/h zone, Haven Road is on your left. It is approx. 15 minutes from Yeppoon to The Haven via either chosen route.
If using Public Transport, the stop “Scenic Highway at Haven Road” is at the top of Haven Road. It is in total a 600m downhill walk to the Haven. Young's Bus Service (operating as part of the Translink Network) operates the local public bus routes, Route 440 timetables are available online.
