The Haven has extensive experience creating, hosting and facilitating events on their stunning venue in Emu Park on the Capricorn Coast. From Formal Wedding Receptions to casual birthday parties or even corporate business functions, The Haven has a space and a configuration to suit the needs of just about any event! Packages can be customised to suit budgets and capacity requirements. Our function rooms are available for single day or multi day use, and can also be packaged with our accommodation options for multi day events.

 

 

The MacKillop ​Room:

The MacKillop Room is the perfect space for small/medium-sized group conferences, yoga and wellness retreats and receptions. Equipped with audio visual equipment participants can enjoy the wrap-around balcony overlooking the magnificent Keppel Bay.

The Julian Function Lawn is without question the quintessential outdoor event space on the Capricorn Coast. Nestled between Julian Lodge and The Mackillop Room, the Julian Function Lawn can cater to the relaxed birthday party, baby shower, celebration of life through to the formal wedding reception with relative ease. 

A range of configurations and set up options can be provided, with additional hire items available upon request. The festoon lighting illuminating the lawn provides not only character and charm, but enhances the night time ambience of your special event.

The Penola Room is our premium dining facility with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the luscious gardens of The Haven with views stretching along the Capricorn Coast. 

Depending on your needs, the Penola can be configured as a dining hall, conference or workshop space, or a blank canvas, whichever best suits your requirements.

The Penola houses a commercial kitchen and is available for hire for use by your preferred licensed caterer.

The Kitchen facility has the capacity to cater for 160 persons, making it suitable for both small retreats and large celebrations.

The Haven has extensive experience with local catering companies and are more than happy to assist you with details of these if you wish.

If the Julian Function Lawn is the Premiere function lawn on the Capricorn Coast, then The Joseph Place Cocktail and Event Lawn comes a close second. A more expansive area to spread out and enjoy the surroundings, the Joseph Place Lawn is ideal for larger, less formal gatherings. Often utilised for parties where a formal sit down meal is not provided, the Joseph Place Lawn is a flexible entertainment area perfect for spreading out, putting a roast on the spit and enjoying the sunshine and coastal breezes. 

 

 

Julian Lodge:

The Board Room

The Julian Lodge Board Room seats 14 comfortably in typical Board Room Style Seating. Available for Meetings and Gatherings, one of the smaller meeting spaces yet perfect for confidential or important business meetings on site, or a break away meeting area to be used during a larger event. 

 

 

The MacKillop

BBQ Centre

MacKillop BBQ and Function Area

Nestled underneath the MacKillop Function and Event Hall, lies the laid back yet impressive MacKillop BBQ Centre. Maintaining the views of the stunning Capricorn Coast without the formality of the Function Areas, the MacKillop BBQ Centre allows for a relaxed entertainment experience. With a capacity of 80, ideal for smaller less formal functions, the MacKillop BBQ Centre is a unique alternative for your event needs.
