The Signing Ship is a majestic monument commemorating the discovery of the bay in May 1770 by Captain James Cook. The unique design represents the sail, mast and rigging of The Endeavour, his shop. Concealed organ pipes capture the sea breezes to create the musical sounds, hence the name 'The Singing Ship".
Below the Singing Ship lies a viewing deck and Boardwalk leading down to the Centenary of ANZAC Memorial. A spectacular sight designed to encapsulate the beauty of a sunrise, this truly is a monument to be seen and experienced.
